What was the first real signal that your solution worked outside the lab or pitch deck, and what did that moment change for you?
The first real signal came during RAROG’s first field exercise with a local fire brigade. After the deployment, the brigade chief told us that without RAROG they would not have been able to find two of the three missing people.
That moment showed us that our technology could truly make a difference in real rescue situations and potentially save lives.
Can you briefly describe your project and where it stood when you entered Venture Kick?
RAROG develops portable detectors that help rescuers locate people in distress by turning their personal electronic devices into rescue beacons.
Before entering Venture Kick, we had built a proof-of-concept detector, tested it in the lab, and conducted early market validation through interviews and demos with potential customers.
How has the direction of your product/service/product strategy changed since working with the Venture Kick Team?
Since entering Venture Kick, we’ve narrowed our initial focus to the mountain rescue market. This gives us a clear entry point before expanding into the broader rescue sector and other adjacent markets.
How will the Stage 2 funding help you advance your project concretely?
Stage 2 funding will allow us to run our first paid pilots. These will help us finalize the first product version and prepare it for market launch.
